9 things TO DO in covid-19 confinement:

We are all facing a challenging time trying to make the Covid-19 come to an end. And yap, we are in confinement... but you can find tons of cool ways to keep yourself busy! So let's not waste time sitting idle in front of the T.V, I made a list of 9 things you can do in the confinement period. My sister took the pictures and together we came up with a list, scroll through them and choose the ones that suits you best!

1. PRACTICING AN INSTRUMENT:

Music is beautiful, it puts you in the mood and makes you feel amazing! This is why I think that one of the things that you could do to spend time is practicing an instrument or learning how to play a new one!

There is also a lot of power behind the words you use when you sing and the notes you play! Music is a great way to express yourself and bring forward a message. We can use musical instruments to establish peace and unity on earth!

"...as it is in music where many different notes blend together in the making of a perfect chord..."

2. GARDENING:

When you are connected to nature, you feel at peace and free. It's in those moments that you may get ideas and inspirations to improve your talents and capabilities! So take a hand trowel and get your hands dirty!

Nature also shows us how to live, if we look well. Observe flowers and plants, they are the same inside- the way they function. But they are different on the outside- their colours, textures and appearances. And this is what makes them beautiful!

“Consider the world of created beings, how varied and diverse they are in species, yet with one sole origin. All the differences that appear are those of outward form and color. This diversity of type is apparent throughout the whole of nature…Let us look…at the beauty in diversity, the beauty of harmony, and learn a lesson…"

3. ARTS AND CRAFTS:

Spending your time in making your imagination materialize in front of your eyes is worth it- believe me! I mean, it's awesome to dig into your world of imagination and find one thing that you always dreamed of creating! It could be an artwork, crochet or even a rocket!

it's also a very good way for you to develop new skills, the secret is imagining and never giving up on your project until it tallies-or is even better- than the one in your head!

“The source of crafts, sciences and arts is the power of reflection."

4. CARING FOR ANIMALS:

personally, I find animals fascinating. I also believe that it is our duty to protect and help them. You see, there are three kingdoms: mineral, vegetal and animal; and then we come: human beings! But we have something that the other kingdoms lack: intelligence. And so, it is out task to help and assist them!

"to be infinitely tender and loving to animals. If an animal be sick, let the children try to heal it, if it be hungry, let them feed it, if thirsty, let them quench its thirst, if weary, let them see that it rests"

5. CHILDREN CLASSES:

Children are a mine rich in precious gems! And when we work with them, we don't only help them- but ourselves too! I started a class with Children of 8 to 10 years old. In the class, we study the Children classes curriculum, do crafts, sing songs, memorize quotations and play games... ALL ONLINE!

When you want something, work on it and in no time the fruits of success will show up!

"O God! Educate these children. These children are the plants of Thine orchard, the flowers of Thy medow, the roses of Thy garden. Let Thy rain fall upon them; let the Sun of Reality shine upon them with Thy love. Let Thy breeze refresh them in order that they may be trained, grow and develop, and appear in the utmost beauty. Thou art the Giver. Thou art the Compassionate."

6. PHOTOGRAPHY:

Ever see extraordinary posters with pictures that seem impossible to take? Well, that's a good thing, then you would want to bring it forward to trying out photography. When I was 9 years old, my parents gifted me a camera for my birthday; I've brought this camera on all of my trips to different places of the world! There are so many memories on it of amazing times I spent with my family.

I've done a bit of research, and to become a good photographer you need to have spiritual qualities like patience, flexibility and creativity. You should also have an eye for details! So if you think this suits your personality, why not grab your camera and start snapping!

7. READING:

Reading is amazing, whether it is for pleasure or information- reading is the solution to everything! You could be chilling with a magazine or wrapped up in your blanket with an engrossing book and some hot coco. I, frankly, read a lot and reading is what improved my english drastically. When you read fiction books, you enter a splendid world of imagination where so many events take place.

When you read historical books you learn about people's lifestyles in the past as well as their opinions and attitude. You aquire a wide range of knowledge and start to also reflect on yourself through reading. This is why I believe that it is an awesome way to spend quality time!

"Reading for pleasure is the single biggest factor in success later in life, outside of an education."

8. BOARD GAMES:

I think cardboard games are an amazing way to spend good time with your family and friends! Cardboard games are the perfect mixture of laugher, love and a pinch of competitiveness! Spending family time brings joy to your heart, so round up your family and friends!

"Where there is love, nothing is too much trouble, and there is always time"

9. SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS:

Science is all around us! Look around, observe the place, everything is science!

So why not take some time to try and understand the laws of science? Look up some cool experiments and try them out! One thing's for sure, science will blow your mind!

"Science is the first emanation from God toward man. All created beings embody the potentiality of material perfection, but the power of intellectual investigation and scientific acquisition is a higher virtue specialized to man alone."

I really hope that this list helps you find stuff to do while staying at home. Try them out and let me know what you think!
